Remastered Diablo II set to release for Consoles and PC.

With the all-time classic games eventually getting a remastered version, such as the previously released Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft III: Reforged, it’s really a treat to be able to experience those nostalgic games with updated graphics.

Looking back, titles such Starcraft and Warcraft are titles that have provided many players with countless hours of fun and strategy making decisions. Not forgetting to mention, the rich storylines and gameplay is also the reason why many come to love the games. Continuous story expansions with each release, it’s really no wonder why it was such a great game.

Remastered Diablo II

BlizzCon 2021, Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming convention announced the resurrection and release of the classic loved game from 2000, Diablo II Resurrected. If that doesn’t get you excited, hold on right there. The resurrected/remastered version will not be exclusively for Windows or macOS as it was once first released back then. Instead, console players are also able to join in the fun of the all-time classic.

It’s also announced that it’ll be releasing on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One and all versions will share cross-progression. Which is really awesome as you are basically able to play on anywhere and still ensure game progression is always where you left off.

Similarly with the remastered Starcraft: Brood Wars, the graphics are changeable with a click of a button. Giving the best of both worlds to players who want that nostalgic factor while also giving the option to play it with better graphics.

However, Blizzard fans, don’t fret as there is more new news from BlizzCon 2021 a new look at the Rogue class for Diablo IV, a World of Warcraft Classic Burning Crusade announcement, Overwatch 2 updates, Hearthstone Deep Dive matches and many more. With the new updates and news, games just keep getting better, whether it being older titles or new titles.
